This beautiful piece of art sounds as joyous as it looks. Three angles encircle a base of 5 copper chimes. The angels are cut out of wood, ranging in color and spreading their wings to the sky! The copper chimes will come to you shiney and bright, and will change color as exposed to the elements, to a dark brown, and eventually acquire a natural green patina. This does not affect the sound, but adds to the beauty of the piece. The wind chime is strung together with heavy-guage monofilament and will hold up to the elements. This chime will withstand being put outdoors; but it is also at home under an eave or porch or even in a window. Because of the dimension of the angel wings and packaging of the unit, there is some minor assembly required. The angels will need to be attached to the base with a simple screwdriver. |
