RETURNS

We want
you to have confidence in ordering from WindchimesandWhimsey.com.  If for any reason you are dissatisfied with ANY of your purchases from Windchimesandwhimsy.com, you may return the item for a full credit within 30 days of receiving the product, less shipping and handling costs. In the event that you need to return a product, please contact: support@windchimesandwhimesy.com for return instructions.  Credits require items be returned in their original packaging.  Please indicate in the email the following:

  • the reason for wanting to return the item; 
  • your email address; 
  •  your postal address; 
  •  item number; 
  •  telephone number where you can be reached. 

Return merchandise must be received Windchimesandwhimsy.com within 30 days after your receipt of delivery, and funds will be credited to your credit card minus any shipping, handling, freight charges, and any applicable sales tax.  In the event an item is damaged, please contact: support@windchimesandwhimesy.com with the information requested above. Our Policy regarding these matters is as follows.

What To Do About Shipping Damages:
To protect yourself, you MUST open and inspect any packages sent to you AS SOON AS THEY ARRIVE. If the product appears to have been damaged in shipment, keep the box and all packaging. Do not throw away anything. Notify
support@windchimesandwhimesy.com immediately. Otherwise, the carrier will assume YOU broke the part and will not honor a shipping damage claim and we will NOT be able to replace the item at no charge to you.
Once reported to us, the following series of events will occur:  

  1. We will call the carrier and enter a damage claim.   
  2. The carrier will contact you to make arrangements to inspect the shipment. The shipper may take a few days to do this and they usually take the product.  
  3. The item must be returned.  WindchimesandWhimsey.com will make a determination if the item is to be repaired/replaced, or the cost of the item is to be refunded to your credit card.

WARRANTIES

All items are warranted directly by the manufacturers.  No other warranty, either expressed or implied, is offered by WindchimesandWhimsey.comWindchimesandWhimsey.com is not responsible for normal wear & tear, abuse, or mistreatment of any of our products.  Items, which are reported defective within 30 days of receipt, will be repaired/replaced or a refund will be issued. If a refund is issued, it will be less all-shipping and handling charges.  Claims reported after 30 days of receipt for any defects may be repaired/replaced at the discretion of the manufacturer or WindchimesandWhimsey.com.

SHIPPING

Shipping and Handling charges are based on merchandise totals before any discounts.  All charges are subject to change without notice.  The minimum shipping charge is $8.95 for merchandise totaling up to $44.99.  For orders totaling $45 or more the shipping charges are based on a percentage of the order.  Orders totalling $100 or more are entitled to FREE SHIPPING (does not apply to rush order shipping)

 Most Orders are shipped via the Postal Service or UPS Ground.      

We ship from South Carolina. Customers on the West Coast will receive their orders approximately 2 weeks from the date the order is received. For shipping destinations closer to the East Coast, shipping time is usually shorter.  In-stock items are normally shipped within 3 business days from the time your order is received.

Shipping to: CANADA

We ship to Canada.   Shipping charges are higher because of import fees charged by the Canadian government.   The minimum extra shipping charge to Canada is $8.00.  For example, if an order totals $35.95, the standard shipping fee of $8.95 applies, and AN ADDITIONAL $8.00 is charged to offset the import fees. 
 

Shipping to: Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Guam, or Puerto Rico

Your cost for shipping to these locations is 20% of the total cost of your items, or $25, whichever is greater. When you order online, your shipping to these locations will be automatically calculated when you check out. (For example, if you place an order for $200 to ship to Puerto Rico, your shipping fee will be calculated as $40.) RUSH Shipping is Available If you are requesting a rush order and require delivery before times indicated above, please e-mail: support@windchimesandwhimesy.com for shipping rates and time.Occasionally, circumstances beyond our control will require additional shipping time. Holiday seasons, large orders, custom items, special orders and out of stock items may take longer. Due to unforeseen circumstances some items may be out of stock for as long as 2 to 6 weeks. We will contact you if your items are backordered or discontinued.

OUT-OF-STOCK

Any item that is "out of stock" will be backordered and will be shipped immediately upon its arrival in our warehouse. You will be notified via email that the product has arrived at the warehouse and is being readied to be sent to you.  If the item has been back-ordered for more than 30 days, you will receive an email asking if you are still interested in the product and still want it sent to you. 

TAXES

Windchimesandwhimsey.com 
does NOT charge sales tax for orders placed outside of South Carolina!  If you order within the state of South Carolina, you will be charged an additional 7% for sales tax.    

CANCELLATIONS

Since we attempt to ship orders within 24 hours, cancellation of an order must be received within 12 hours of the order being placed. Shipping, handling, and freight charges will apply to all orders shipped prior to our receiving your cancellation. Please email: support@windchimesandwhimsey.com within that period to cancel an order.
